1. Overview

These Referral Program Terms (“Terms”) explain how the Wappler Referral Program works for customers. By using a referral link or participating as a referrer, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the program does

The Wappler Referral Program lets eligible active Wappler customers share a referral link with new customers. If a referral qualifies under these Terms, the new customer may receive a referral discount and the referrer may receive Wappler wallet credit.

3. Who can refer

  • You must have an active eligible paid Wappler subscription.
  • You must not be blocked or suspended.
  • You must use a valid Wappler referral link or referral code.
  • You must still be active when a reward milestone is paid.

If you are not active when a reward milestone would otherwise be paid, that reward is not granted.

4. Who can be referred

The referred customer must be an eligible new customer.

  • They must not already have a prior successful paid Wappler subscription.
  • They must not be the same Stripe billing customer as the referrer.
  • They must not be the same person or organization using the same billing identity as the referrer.

Wappler may reject or cancel referral attribution if these requirements are not met.

5. How the referral is tracked

To qualify, the referred customer should start from the Wappler pricing page using the referral link or code. If the referral is not captured correctly at the start of the pricing and checkout flow, the referral may not qualify.

6. Monthly referral rewards

If the referred customer’s first successful paid subscription is monthly:

  • the referred customer gets 20% off the first paid monthly invoice,
  • the referrer gets EUR 10 in wallet credit after the first successful paid monthly invoice,
  • the referrer gets another EUR 15 in wallet credit after the third successful paid monthly invoice.

If the referred customer does not reach the third successful paid monthly invoice, the second monthly reward is not granted.

7. Yearly referral rewards

If the referred customer’s first successful paid subscription is yearly:

  • the referred customer gets 10% off the first paid yearly invoice,
  • the referrer gets EUR 30 in wallet credit after the first successful paid yearly invoice.

8. How the reward path is determined

The reward path is based on the referred customer’s first successful paid subscription term.

  • If the referrer is yearly and the referred customer’s first successful paid invoice is monthly, the monthly referral rules apply.
  • If the referrer is monthly and the referred customer’s first successful paid invoice is yearly, the yearly referral rules apply.

The referrer’s own billing term does not change the referred customer’s reward path.

If the referred customer changes between monthly and yearly before the first qualifying paid invoice, the first successful paid invoice determines the reward path.

9. Company and multi-license accounts

Referral rewards are granted per referred billing account, not per seat or per employee.

  • A company account counts as one referred customer account.
  • A multi-license purchase does not create multiple referral rewards.
  • The referrer reward does not increase because the referred account buys more licenses.

The referred customer discount applies to the qualifying referred invoice for that account under the approved referral offer.

10. Upgrades, renewals, extra seats, and repeat purchases

The following do not count as new referrals:

  • subscription renewals,
  • additional seat purchases,
  • upgrades,
  • repeat purchases on the same billing account,
  • restarting the same account through a new referral link.

11. Discounts and other coupon codes

Referral discounts do not fully stack with other discounts.

If more than one eligible discount is available, Wappler may apply the best customer-facing discount while referral attribution may still remain attached.

If the final invoice is fully discounted or otherwise does not qualify as a real positive paid invoice, the referral may not qualify for reward.

12. Wallet credit only

Referral rewards are paid as Wappler wallet credit only.

  • Rewards are not cash.
  • Rewards are not withdrawable.
  • Rewards are not transferable for cash payout.
  • Rewards are intended for use in the Wappler billing account.

13. Monthly to yearly changes

If a referred customer starts on the monthly referral path and later moves to yearly before the monthly retention reward is reached, Wappler may treat the qualifying yearly payment on that same account as satisfying the remaining monthly retention milestone.

This does not create a second separate yearly referral payout.

14. Refunds, disputes, and reversals

If a qualifying payment is later refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed, Wappler may reverse any associated referral reward.

Wappler may also cancel or reject referral status where needed to keep the program fair.

15. Fraud, abuse, and self-referrals

The following are not allowed:

  • self-referrals,
  • false or misleading referrals,
  • attempts to create multiple rewards from one billing account,
  • attempts to use the program in a way that bypasses these Terms.

Wappler may reject, reverse, suspend, or cancel referral participation where abuse is suspected.

16. Program changes

Wappler may update, pause, or end the referral program at any time.

Wappler may also update eligibility rules, reward values, discount values, qualifying conditions, and program messaging. Any changes apply according to the version of the program in effect at the relevant time, except where law or explicit program wording requires otherwise.

17. Support interpretation

If there is any question about how a referral should be handled, Wappler will interpret these Terms in line with the program’s core principles:

  • one referred billing account equals one referral path,
  • the referred customer’s first qualifying paid invoice determines the reward path,
  • referrers must be active when rewards are paid,
  • rewards are wallet credit only,
  • the best eligible customer discount wins instead of full discount stacking.

18. Practical examples

Example 1
You refer a new customer whose first qualifying paid invoice is monthly.

  • They receive 20% off the first paid monthly invoice.
  • You receive EUR 10 after their first successful paid monthly invoice.
  • You receive another EUR 15 after their third successful paid monthly invoice, if you are still active at that time.

Example 2
You refer a new customer whose first qualifying paid invoice is yearly.

  • They receive 10% off the first paid yearly invoice.
  • You receive EUR 30 after their first successful paid yearly invoice, if you are still active at that time.

If a referred customer changes term before the first qualifying paid invoice, the reward path follows that first paid invoice rather than the earlier checkout selection.

Example 3
You refer a company that buys multiple licenses on one account.

  • The company still counts as one referred billing account.
  • The company can receive the eligible referral discount on the qualifying invoice.
  • You receive one account-level referral reward path, not one reward per license.
